Therapy Dogs visit!
December 6th, 2012 - two therapy dogs and their owners, Virginia Wagner and Mary Addison-Lamb, came by. These special dogs are trained to calm and cheer up people like seniors and children. As you can see they definately put a smile on our faces!
Apparently the dogs love to be read to, so once a month they will visit with us and the children will read to them in the homework room. They will also work with any children afraid of dogs to help them overcome their fear. Great therapy and education for us all! Thank you so much Ladies!

Sheriff's Office visit the Center:
On November 9th, 2012 Sheriff Monte Belew and Captain Damon Lowe visited with the children. With them was Lance Perry who brought one of their drug dogs - a beautiful golden lab named Casey. After hiding some marijuana Casey showed the children how she can find it for the Officers. Sheriff Belew talked about saying NO to drugs and answered the children's questions. Each child received a 'Sheriff' sticker and were able to pet Casey. A great visit for all! Thank you!
Judge Vicki Snyder and Chief of Police Charles Elizondo came to see us! Judge Vicki Snyder
In October, 2012, Judge Snyder and Chief Elizondo were our guests. Judge Snyder talked about the Juvenile Court system, what a juvenile is and what kind of cases she sees, including stealing and truancy. Chief Elizondo talked about how the Police are here to protect and help everyone. The children were given 'believe' bracelets by Judge Snyder, who has always been a wonderful supporter of REAL Hope. A lot of questions were answered and great information given! Thank you!
